Lane Home Health Receives Deficiency-Free Survey
The rigorous survey was conducted over 4 days to ensure that home health providers are meeting all requirements to maintain quality patient care. The visits are unannounced and a thorough review of quality, safety and performance issues is conducted as well as a review of clinical documentation, administrative and clinical procedures, patient medication management, and employee personnel files. In addition, surveyors interview patients and clinicians and carefully observe all operations throughout the agency.
"Deficiency-free surveys are very rare in the home health industry,” stated Lori Hopwood, DON and Administrator for Lane Home Health. "We at Lane Home Health are proud of the work we do and the care provided to our patients every day. The results of this survey further demonstrate the great care and teamwork at our agency. I congratulate the entire team who contributed to this success.”
As national and local health regulations become more and more stringent, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to achieve a deficiency-free rating. These surveys are an excellent tool for prospective patients in the Zachary and surrounding areas to make an informed decision about their health.
