When asked “Why did you become an RN & Why should I hire you in our ED?
She simply stated, “I knew I would become a good nurse, but I wanted to be more than just a good nurse. I wanted to be a nurse who made a difference in the workplace. I wanted to become the type of nurse who improved the lives of my patients by providing quality compassionate care. When I think about all of the patients and their loved ones that I have worked with over the years I know that I gave a little piece of myself to each of them and they to me. Those threads makeup a beautiful tapestry in my mind. This is my nursing career and I will always seek to learn and progress within the profession."
