As most Louisianans are increasingly working and schooling at home, we are reminded of the seriousness of coronavirus (COVID-19) and that we must all be doing our part to limit its spread within our communities. In order to do so, everyone should be practicing health and safety measures we’ve heard time and time again: wash our hands and socially distance ourselves from others. In addition, there are many other steps we can and should be taking to protect our health, as well as the health of those around us. Below are seven steps from the World Health Organization that everyone should be taking, regardless of current health status, to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. Even if you feel fine and are completely asymptomatic, these steps remain vital in the fight against this illness.
