Linthon Bundick was named Lane Regional Medical Center’s 2016 Employee of the Year. Bundick is a Radiologic Technologist in the Imaging Department.
Bundick was recognized for his dedication and outstanding work. He was named Employee of the Month in September 2016 and was selected as Employee of the Year from the twelve monthly honorees of 2016.
Bundick has worked at Lane for 44½ years. He came to Lane in June 1972 after graduating from the Radiologic Technology program at Charity Hospital of Louisiana in Lafayette. Lane is the only hospital that Bundick has ever worked in full-time.
“Linthon Bundick is the most outstanding and technically gifted Radiologic Technologist I have ever worked with,” said Greg Dickinson, Imaging Director. “The images he produces for the radiologist to interpret have always been excellent by every measure.”
Bundick is a native of Eunice and a long-time resident of Zachary. He has two children, Chris and Carrie, and five grandchildren.
Bundick officially retired from Lane in December. “His knowledge, professionalism and compassion has been appreciated and will be truly missed,” said Dickinson.
