Bank of Zachary recently donated $10,000 to Lane Foundation’s Hurricane Ida Fund to help hospital employees recover and rebuild from the aftermath of the storm that devastated southeast Louisiana.
Mark Marionneaux, President and CEO of Bank of Zachary, shared, “Our local hospital and its employees have been through a tremendously difficult year, and with the recent impact of Hurricane Ida we wanted to show our appreciation for their service to our community. We wanted them to know that their hard work, sacrifice, and dedication is noticed and appreciated.”
“The impact of recent storms has been devastating for many of our hospital heroes,” says Theresa Payment, executive director of Lane Foundation. “The donated funds will go to our team members who experienced significant property loss or personal hardship but continued to care for patients before, during, and after the storm. This disaster, on top of the continuing Covid -19 pandemic, has only added additional stress and hardship on our team members.”
