An unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during the Coronavirus pandemic has caused a severe blood shortage.
As elective procedures are being set to proceed again, there is an urgent need for blood donors.
The Blood Center Donation Bus will be in front of Lane, Monday, May 4th, from 9am – 5pm.
We are in need of all blood types as well as Convalescent Plasma Donors.
People who have fully recovered from COVID-19 have antibodies in their plasma that can attack the virus. This convalescent plasma is being used as treatment for patients seriously ill with COVID-19.
