Claudia Cantwell, RN, was recently named both Administrator and Director of Nursing for Lane Home Health.
Cantwell has more than 25 years of professional healthcare experience and will oversee all clinical and administrative aspects of the organization, including patient care, professional standards, and accreditation guidelines. Prior to this position she held the dual role of Director and Director of Nursing for Woman’s Home Care and Infusion Pharmacy for 17 years, and more recently she was the Practice Administrator over Oncology Clinics and Infusion Centers at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans.
Cantwell attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette and is a graduate of the Our Lady of the Lake School of Nursing. She is a member of the National Association for Home Care and Hospice and the HomeCare Association of Louisiana.
During her career, she received the Capstone Quality Award and the Platinum Level Quality Award from EQ Health Solutions, the Platinum Level Quality Award for Excellence in Health Care Quality Improvement and the Home Health Agency Special Recognition Award for Sustaining Excellent Acute Care Hospitalization Rates from Louisiana Health Care Review, and the Outstanding Nurse Award from the Baton Rouge District Nurses Association.

Originally from New Orleans, Cantwell has lived in the Baton Rouge area for more than 30 years. She and her husband, Paul, have six children and 11 grandchildren and enjoy their camping adventures with the family.
Established in 1984, Lane Home Health provides a full range of services such as pre and post-operative care, diabetic management, cardiac home care, IV antibiotic therapy, pain management, wound care, personal care, medical social services, and physical, speech and occupational therapy.
