Lane Pediatrics is pleased to announce the addition of pediatrician Bikal Sapkota, MD, to its practice located at 6110 Main Street in Zachary. He joins Dr. Shola Tijani and Dr. Chana Heintz.
Dr. Sapkota completed his residency in Pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Amarillo, Texas and received a Doctor of Medicine from Southwestern University-Matias H. Azmar Memorial College of Medicine. He is board eligible in Pediatrics.
Dr Sapkota’s expertise lies in providing compassionate and nurturing care to children including neonatal care, performing examinations and evaluations to assess patient growth and development, and treating children with both minor illness and chronic health issues.
Dr. Sapkota provides services for newborns, toddlers, children, and teens, including:
- Well-baby exams
- Preventative check-ups
- Immunizations
- School and Sports physicals
- Developmental screenings
- Primary care services
- Flu shots
“From routine checkups to immunizations, my goal is to help kids stay as healthy as possible and be their advocate,” says Dr. Sapkota. “When kids are sick, I want them to feel comfortable coming to the office and getting the care they need.”
Dr. Sapkota and his wife Puja live in Zachary. He enjoys playing soccer, cooking, motorcycling, traveling, and serving humanity with a genuine heart and kindness.
