Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic is proud to announce Dr. John Wilkinson has joined BROC and is currently accepting new patients at the Zachary Clinic, 6550 Main Street, Suite 2300. He will provide comprehensive orthopedic care and will specialize in Hand, Wrist, Elbow and Microvascular Surgery.
Dr. Wilkinson is a native of West Baton Rouge and attended Catholic High School in Baton Rouge. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he graduated in the top of his class and received the Alumni Award for Excellence in Anatomy.
Dr. Wilkinson then completed his orthopedic residency training at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. He further specialized in Orthopedic Hand, Upper Extremity and Microvascular Surgery by completing a Fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
