A free skin cancer screening sponsored by Lane Regional Medical Center and Advanced Dermatology will be held Wednesday, May 9, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the office of Dr. Laurie Harrington, located at 20474 Old Scenic Highway in Zachary.
The screening coincides with Melanoma/Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month, and is part of a national campaign to encourage early detection and teach prevention of skin cancer, the most common form of cancer in this country.
Appointments are required and space is limited.
