The Blood Center donation bus will be in front of Lane Regional Medical Center on Monday, January 31, from 11a.m. - 5p.m., at 6300 Main Street in Zachary.
We are facing a severe blood shortage and are in critical need of all blood types.
DONORS SHOULD:
- Eat before donating
- Bring a picture ID
- Be 17 or older (16 with parental consent)
- Bring reading glasses if neededWear a face covering
A number of safety and social distancing procedures are in place to protect those giving blood. Safe distancing will be observed, and the number of people donating at any one time will be limited.
The process takes about 45 minutes; the actual blood collection usually takes less than 20 minutes.
