The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has awarded Lane Nursing Home the distinguished 5-star quality rating, placing it in the top 10% of nursing homes nationwide.
The CMS Five-Star Quality Rating System was created in 2008 by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to help consumers select and compare skilled nursing care centers and to address top concerns regarding staffing, quality, and nursing home health inspections. The CMS system gives nursing homes a rating of between 1 and 5 stars. Nursing homes with 5 stars are considered top performers in their field.
“I am extremely proud of the entire team here at Lane Nursing Home for receiving the CMS Five-Star Quality Rating,” said Patsy Lofstrom, Lane Nursing Home Director. “This 5-star rating is a strong endorsement of the work being done each day by our nurses and CNAs, along with all the other staff that provide support and care. It also confirms what we have always known, which is that we care for our residents like they are family members.”
