Lane Volunteers Recognized For Service To Hospital

Members of the Lane Regional Medical Center Volunteer Services program were recently recognized for their service to the hospital.

Service pins were awarded to:

  • Diane Rouchon and Kate Tacey - 1,000 hours
  • Jeanine Meese - 500 hours
  • Vicky Dong - 50 hours

CONGRATULATIONS to these volunteers for their achievements!! We appreciate their time and dedication to our patients, visitors, and organization. The new Lane volunteer uniform was also introduced, incorporating the history of the ‘pink ladies’ with a pink polo shirt, black vest, and pink logo embroidered on the vest.

“Hospital volunteers can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life — just by being there,” says volunteer services director Theresa Payment. “Whether you want to give back to your community, meet new people, learn new skills, or see what it is like to work in healthcare, volunteering is a rewarding experience.”

Lane is currently recruiting new volunteers who are at least 18 years old and can commit to serving on a weekly or monthly basis. For more information, call 2258-658-6699 or email volunteer@lanermc.org.
