Dr. Keith Elbourne was born and raised in Baton Rouge and received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in 2002. After completing residency training at LSU, he founded Bayou Regional Women's Clinic (now Lane OB/GYN) in 2006. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Elbourne's mission is to provide the highest-quality individualized care for the women of this community and surrounding areas. Dr. Elbourne feels that he and his patients are a team when it comes to their healthcare and treatment. He is trained to manage routine as well as non-routine OB/GYN needs using traditional and minimally invasive techniques.
He has been published many times on topics ranging from the mortality of women to autoimmune diseases. He received the prestigious Joseph Barnhill Memorial Award for Chemistry, an LSU Board of Supervisors Scholarship and other awards.
