Lane is pleased to offer both inpatient and outpatient nutrition services.
Inpatient Nutrition Services
During your inpatient stay, you will receive three meals per day according to a physician-ordered diet. For patients at high nutrition risk, one of our registered dietitians will complete an assessment to determine how to best meet your specialized nutrition needs.
Outpatient Nutrition Services
Nutrition intervention is an important component in the improvement of chronic disease. Our team of licensed and registered dietitians provide individualized nutrition plans and give our patients the tools and motivation needed to make improvements to their health and well-being.
Physician Referral Required
Outpatient nutrition services are available at Lane with a physician referral.
Below are some of the conditions for which we provide Medical Nutrition Therapy:
- Diabetes
- Gestational Diabetes
- Weight management
- Cardiovascular Disease
- Kidney Disease
- Gastrointestinal Disease
- Cancer
- Nutrition Support (Tube Feeding, Parenteral Nutrition)

One of our dietitians will call the patient to schedule an appointment. Most insurance companies will cover all or part of outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy services for disease management.
